Meet Joseph!
Hello everyone! My name is Joseph Arena, and I am one of the dog stylists here at Charlie’s Canine Camp. I have always had a love for dogs, and I knew that whatever I did with my life, it would involve them. After graduating high school and volunteering at local animal shelters, I realized my passion was in making my four-legged friends fashionable. In 2019, I acquired my mastery in the art of dog grooming here in Geneva, New York, and I also welcomed my best friend, Ranger, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, into my life.
At the end of 2019, I decided to move to Houston, Texas, where I worked at a doggy daycare facility managing all the grooming services. Not only did I grow as a stylist there, but I also expanded my family by adding Benji, a Pitbull; Frankie, a Chihuahua mix; and Maple, a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Early 2024, I made the decision to move back to my hometown in Waterloo, with my family. If I’m not grooming dogs, you can find me down by the lake with my four-legged friends, where we spend most of my days off.
My biggest priority is the happiness and well-being of all the dogs in my care. Dog grooming has always been my passion and my work reflects who I am as an individual—precise and sharp. My grooms are thoughtful, and I understand that not every dog is the same. I excel at adapting to the needs of your pups.
